The Missoula County Airport Authority is currently seeking to fill the position of Deputy Director. The Deputy Director assists in the management and operation of the Airport and represents and acts for the Airport Director in the his absence; assists in planning, directing, and supervising the daily activities of the airport; participates in the planning and development for the Missoula Montana Airport; performs liaison and public relations work in dealing with State and Federal agencies, users, lessees and the general public. The Deputy Director manages MSO's Ground Service, IT and marketing/advertising programs, as well as oversees the Facilities, Airfield and Public Safety departments. MSO is currently in the midst of a multi-phase terminal project and will be beginning work on a Master Plan within the year.
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Airport Management, Business, Economics or Public Administration with minimum of 5 years related work experience.
Mix of airport and airline experience preferred.
Membership or eligibility for membership in AAAE required. Preference for Airport Executive certification.
