Missoula International Airport issues identification badges to personnel requiring access to restricted areas. All badges are issued in accordance with TSA and CFR 49 part 1542 regulatory requirements. There will be mandatory training and background checks prior to badge issuance. Due to federal regulations, any badge expired for more than 30 days requires that the individual complete the background and initial badging process again.
Lost / Stolen / Unreturned Badge: All badges must be returned upon expiration, termination or renewal. In order to prevent unauthorized access, any lost or stolen badge must be immediately reported to the Missoula Airport Administration Office at 406-728-4381 or after hours to the Public Safety Office at 406-541-3100.
