Service Animals

Located in the A Concourse, next to Gate 1, the Service Animal Relief Area (SARA) is a private room with self-draining turf for the use of service animals and pets traveling with their owners.

Please note that dogs and cats are not allowed to walk around the terminal freely. Emotional support or service animals are the only exception.

Service Animals can also be relieved prior to checking in in the grassy area to the Northwest of the Terminal.  For your convenience, there are plastic bag dispensers in this area.  Please clean up after your animal!

Special Assistance

During peak travel periods, the airport offers additional assistance through our Airport Ambassador Program, designed to help and assist your travel through our facility. Please reach out to our Administrative Staff at 406-728-4381 to coordinate with one our team members.

At the Checkpoint

For information on security screening for people with disabilities, visit the Transportation Security Administration.

TSA has launched TSA Cares, a helpline designed to assist travelers with disabilities and medical conditions, prior to arriving at the airport. Travelers may call TSA Cares toll free at 1-855-787-2227 prior to traveling with questions about screening policies, procedures and what to expect at the security checkpoint.
