Terminal Information

The Airport is conveniently located at 5225 Highway 10 West in northwest Missoula. Close to the busy shopping areas on Reserve Street and just minutes from the University of Montana campus, the Airport is just ten minutes from the heart of downtown Missoula.  The terminal is open 24 hours per day, 365 days per week.

Tall ceilings with wooden beams decorate the interior of the Airport.  Murals and displays that represent the surrounding area hope to ensure that your visit is a pleasurable one.


Missoula International Airport (MSO) is designed for maximum accessibility, mobility, comfort, and convenience for all passengers and visitors, including those with physical challenges, those traveling with infants and small children, the elderly, and others with special needs.

The Airport follows ADA requirements and strives to provide facilities that enables everyone to move through the facility safely and efficiently. Vertical movement is minimized and there are elevators to facilitate mobility.

MSO is accessible in the following ways: automatic doors, crosswalks, curb cuts, ramped access, flush (level) flooring and entrances, and elevators. Braille signage and buttons are located in elevators and outside all doors/emergency exits. Airline ticket counters, point-of-sale counters, restrooms, drinking fountains, ATMs, and public seating areas are accessible.

Designated parking areas for drivers of vehicles displaying proper identification are available. There are ample parking spaces for the physically challenged in the Short-Term and Long-Term Parking areas.

Wheelchair assistance
Departing and arriving passengers can utilize wheelchair assistance. Contact your airline to schedule assistance at no extra charge.

Security Checkpoint
TSA has launched a helpline to assist disabled travelers to go through the screening process: Call 1.855.787.2227.

Service animals
Service dogs are allowed in the terminal when accompanying their owners. Outdoor animal relief areas are available in the grassy in front of the Terminal. Owners of service animals requiring relief in post-security areas should make arrangements with the airline from whom they purchased their tickets.

Each set of restrooms in the terminal has two levels of accessible stalls: one that accommodates a wheelchair, and one equipped with side rails for assistance in sitting and standing.

Missoulian Visitors Information Center

The Missoula International Airport recently opened the ‘Missoulian Visitors Information Center’ in the main lobby of our Terminal.

The Center is staffed by MSO Volunteer Ambassadors, friendly volunteers who are in place to assist the traveling public and Airport visitors.  Their purpose is two-fold: (1) to offer help in navigating the Terminal (2) assist with tourist and travel information about Missoula and our Glacier Country Region.The ‘Missoulian Visitors Information Center’ is sponsored by The Missoulian, Missoula’s only daily newspaper, and is being developed in collaboration with the Missoula Area Chamber of Commerce, Destination Missoula,
Glacier Country Tourism, and Missoula Downtown.BUSINESSES: To distribute your magazine or brochure at the ‘Missoulian Visitor Information Center’, contact us at 406-728-4381.  The monthly cost is affordable.  It’s your business opportunity to promote your product or services to over 582,000 passengers and thousands of Terminal visitors.
